has anyone else tried ...

buying a watch from jomashop.com?

i just bought a TAG watch for the misses from jomashop.com in the states..anyone else had any experances with them? i havent recievd it yet and have been advised it will be with me this week..

The reason i chose them was the same shop in the UK wanted £1400 ($2800) for a watch which i got from them for £688.00 delivered! i know theres an issue with the uk warentee but at that price i can litrally get two for the price of one here!

Here's some reviews of Jomashop http://www.resellerratings.com/store/Jomashop

It's not a UK warranty issue that you might have. Jomashop does not sell watches that are (generally) covered by the manufacturer (see http://www.jomashop.com/jomainfo.html#warranty ). Jomashop claims that they will service it.

If it was me, I would look elsewhere. There are a LOT of fraudulent watch selling web sites out there. I'm not saying that Jomashop is one of them but seeing the feedback posted in the first link above, I would have concerns.

This web site has a lot of positive reviews http://reviews.pricegrabber.com/jomashop/r/2046/

ahh damn i have already placed the order....in my panic after reading the comments on that site i rang them, i have been given a UPS tracking number for the watch and checked with ups and it will be with me by friday! so fingers crossed..

Good luck. Sounds like you might one on the satisfied customers after all. :)

I suggest checking that it is genuine and that it is new.

My TAG has lasted me for 12 years now --- still my favourite watch. I had it serviced after 10 years (at an authorized TAG shop) and they made it like new.

I just hope it isn't a replica fake.... :(

When I bought my Carrera I saw a ton online at half the price, there was a reason.

never ever buy a watch from a non-authorized dealer or there's no warranty.... and there's a strong possibility that it's a fake.

hi guys from what i gather it seems pretty reputable in all those posts people who wanted there money back got it one way or another ...as soon as it arrives im taking it to watches of switz and having them give it a once over for authentisity.....if its the genuine artical i might order myself up a carrera too! :D

I think as far as authenticity goes you'll be fine. As others have stated , they are not an authorized dealer so any repairs will be performed by them.
They also don't stock anything, once you place the order they go and find your watch.
