So I finally got my new camera rig.

Canon 40D
Vertical Grip
24mm-70mm L 2.8

Merry Chanukkah to me, Merry Chanukkah to me... Oh wait, Chanukkah is over...

Within 10 minutes of me taking it out of the box I got a call from my buddy who works at Virgin Records. He wants me to shoot one of his new bands at the Whisky a go go..

So the camera came out of the box and went straight to work:

Nice rig B-line. Sweet lens.

Just picked up the 580EXII and 70-200 4L last week. Haven't had much of a chance to try them out yet. Maybe next week if I decide to lug them to Maui. :D

I ordered it from Amazon. Suppose to be here on Monday :)
