I watched it live on TV as well. I am so glad they made it back alright. Huge sigh of relief. This may be old technology, and the shuttle program may be in its twilight, but it is still an amazing feat to take humans to space and bring them back safely. And, by the way, we're the only nation in the world who's currently doing this with any kind of consistency. (I know the Russians do it also, but their program is in even more dire straits.) This is something to be very proud of.

Yep the Russians do it, too. However you Americans use re-usable aircraft, which is cool. :thumbup:

Yup. For all the bad rap it's taken in the last few years, the shuttle is STILL the only re-usable space craft in the world, and it is STILL the most advanced space craft in the world.
