HDMI cable question

Any recommendations for HDMI cable for a new LCD install?

Will be going from the comcrap HD box and from DVD player. Don't worry I'm not going to get suckered into buying the monster cables at the big box store - just wondering what others have used.

Here are some possibilities - what do you guys think.

Thanks

Head to Walmart, buy a cable :) No need to blow tons of money on it.

Now wag, how can I take your advice seriously with that "factoid" in your sig.

The cables on my links are $12 - just curious if I am missing something.

Those cables are fine.

To your other point...buy a walking cast :)

I just bought this one from Amazon.com, and it has EXCELLENT quality for the price!

swesson 01-29-2008 11:18 AM

I agree with Wagner and SG...high-priced HDMI cables are a complete scam.

I'm with SG, et al...cheap HDMI is fine, imo.

I got a kick out of the purists buying ship hauser thick
speaker "wire" in the '80s & '90s...their fookin dog couldn't
hear the diff, let alone most listeners suffering from Arena Rock
and headphone syndrome, lol!

I don't know about the rest of you, but I can actually track most of my hearing loss to a single concert! 1980 Cars, Renunion Arena in Dallas. First row. Ouch!

That must have been an awesome show

I saw so many concerts in the late '60s, & '70s, I'm surprised
I still have the hearing I do...concerts and headphones cranked up.

It will be interesting to see how IPod kidz do, 10 years from now;
most of the kids I see have them plugged into their ears 90% of
their awake time.
