I remember reading a thread a while ago here that made it clear that many members dissaprove of firearms...so who here enjoys them? Whether it be collecting them, target shooting, or hunting, lets hear about it!

i think u'll find that the percentage of gun owners in the usa is extremely small...any disagreements between individuals or intrusion onto personal property are usually handled with rapid , enthusiastic, empathetic negotiating resulting in hugs for both parties...Also the carefree nonchalant firing of multiple lead rounds for amusement and testosterone release has been perceived as shallow by many americans as john wayne envisioned

Fortunately, right about 50% of American house holds own legal hand guns, for the right reasons.

X5 world would make a person think that I suppose! And not only are intrusions met with a rapid hug, but the police also show up in telepathic time! So what do you have?

I own a few handguns and a shotgun. Even though I live in a good area, they are for self defense. I will be looking into concealed license soon.

svh19044, nice collection you have there. Better stock up on the 5.7 ammo since they will prob get banned if the AWB gets rolling again.

LOL...pics can be deceiving, its a bad angle its not really pointed at my head...the gun he is holding is a Mossberg assault pump shotgun...it was not loaded when the pics were taken.

How about a more interesting question:

Who on X5 World is a gun owner and also believes in gun control?

At least from my standpoint that couldn't be further from the truth. I believe there should be stricter laws regarding the purchase and ownership of a firearm. There should be waiting periods. There should be certain weapons that are and are not legal.

A little common sense when it goes to firearms goes a long way.

We have enough laws against guns, too many IMO. Our legislature seems hell bent on making more laws against guns in some naive argument that this will limit violent crime. Last I checked, murder was illegal....
