Zicam does work
 

Yep, I had that dreaded sore throat when I woke up Saturday morning, and I knew I was getting a cold. So, I took a DayQuill, and....nothing. Tylenol Severe Cold? Nothing. NyQuill? nothing. So, after advice from a friend, I tried Zicam, those little cotton swabs that you put in your nose. I really didn't think it would work, but half an hour later I was still tired and beat up by the cold, but ZERO symptoms. I now am in love with this stuff, not much symptoms now, but still have a cold.

I have had mixed results but I think they do work pretty decent.. And when you're that beat up, anything feels better than nothing..

A bottle of Odwalla - Strawberry C Monster for two days always works for me...

I've gone through a case of that Gatorade Tiger I was talking about...helps too.

btw, and completely off topic, I may be taking a short road trip this weekend to Ann Arbor/Detroit, does anybody know if anything interesting is going on, or a cool place to visit?
