N.Y. Times: New York governor linked to prostitution

NEW YORK (AP) -- The New York Times is reporting that New York Gov. Eliot Spitzer has told senior advisers that he had been involved in a prostitution ring.
On its Web site, the newspaper cites an anonymous administration official as the source and says Spitzer was meeting with his top aides.
Spitzer officials wouldn't immediately comment on the story to The Associated Press. An announcement was scheduled for 2:15 p.m. at his Manhattan office.

I am so glad that I DID NOT vote for this guy.
I cannot believe this is the same guy who promised an end to corruption and who also busted several prostitution rings as Attorney General.

One report has the starting price at $500 an hour and get this...Up to $5500 an hour. I don't know about everyone else here but I can't think of any sexual act I'd be willing to shell out for that kind of dough. Sure they are gorgeous but $5500. I'd opt for a trip to the local pub, a few drinks for the ladies a light-switch and a good imagination .

Here are the dirty details and the edited screen shots of the original website. From the article it looks like he paid $4,300 for his evening. So he sold out the State of New York and his wife and kids for $4,300. I hope it was one heck of a romp in the hay.

Well after all the time of the politicians screwing us its feels good when they get a little screwing.

If I am not mistaken, Spitzer comes from a well-to-do family. Perhaps that is how he funded his "hobby" habits but how does a guy who got a perfect score on his LSAT and 1590 on his SAT exercise such poor judgement by using an escort service? Did he not think an escort agency/ provider would recognize him as a prominent public figure....and perhaps keep records of his tryst/s as a future bargaining chip?
