How does it compare to Call of Duty 4?

how does it compare to the original vegas?

COD4 is probably less tactical than R6. Graphically speaking, it should be on par with the rest of the genre coming out now. Mindblowing...

Love your gamertag. At first it sounds kind of fearsome but then you picture that curly dog of yours and you just want to hug.

I have always stayed away from the Rainbow Six series. They're too complicated and require too much planning. I like to just get in the mix and battle, without having to worry about my squad. I'm a big COD fan and have devoted countless hours to the series. I've been addicted to COD4 online after having finished the game twice on regular then veteran difficulty. It's my personal form of crack.

I used to love the original R6 for Xbox, then COD4 came out and the game play was so smooth and fluid, it won me over. Over Christmas break I tried to go back and play R6 but it was too slow.

They fixed all that for Vegas II. It's very tactical and it moves a lot faster. I think R6 is a much, much better game than COD4 but I'm also more about game play than graphics. I also prefer simulation style game play over DOOM or HALO, blow the crap out of everything.
I like the para-military style tone of R6 and the close quarter, room sweeping, type battles. The only thing they really screwed up on was not having a melee or knife kill. It's so much fun on COD4 when you come up on a buddy who is playing on another team and you knife em in the throat :)

I found COD4 to be fun, but too much like an arcade game with spawn sites that would put you anywhere and everywhere.

PNG, you only have to worry about your squad in the stand alone version and they are not troublesome like GRAW. They manage themselves really. And Rainbow 6 is really about ONLINE, terrorist hunts and death matchs.. It's a lot more of a community game than COD4 even.
- And thanks for the compliment on my gamer tag. I think it's a great fit.

The AI on R6 has gotten much better and think it's definitely worth the $60 investment. I have a group of buddies that I race with, we are all 360 nuts and we meet online whenever possible (a few nights a week.)

I have no doubt that we will all be R6 possessed for no less than the next 6 months.

I would say, hands down R6 VII is one of the best games I have ever played for Xbox.. Go get it.
