AV question: sat dish and power conditioner
 

As far as I can tell, the only cables to the Directv sat dish are the rg6 cable from the receiver and a ground. Since it seems that the rg6 coax cable supplies power to the dish, that doesn't need to run through the power conditioner right? The box's power is running through it.

if the dish is getting power from the box and the box is getting power from the conditioner you're fine

When you put it simply like that, the logic does unravel pretty easily. Thanks. :)
