Mac for sure....Especially for your purposes...Once you learn the Mac operating system which is 50 million times better then Vista (and it actually works properly unlike Vista). You'll be very happy.

It depends. If you are used to PC and Windows systems. Dont buy a MAC just because others tell you to because when it comes to installing software, fixing your computer on your own, you have no idea how to do it on a MAC since you have done it thousands times on PC but none on MAC.

That's the point. As a PC guy I'm tired of "fixing" my computer. I've still not figured out all the issues with Vista and I've finally given up.

You don't have to troubleshoot Macs. Changing over to Leopard is easy. Also installing cards etc is a breeze on Apple machines.

Definitely a Mac. I switched 4 years ago and am on my 2nd Mac getting ready to update again and would never switch back.

Unfortunately still use a PC at work and profoundly hate it and Vista.

Thanks!

I guess you didn't know that you were posting your question on "X5world and Appleworld" forum ;) There's a little bias here...

^Well it's for good reason. ;)

I switched from a crappy Windows XP in '05 and wouldn't switch back.
