That's old news recently recycled by the media. Funny they do this when Absolut was just up to be purchased.....surprise surprise.

Looking at population numbers broken down by demographics that map is not far off. At least on the Western and Southern fringes.

That map was dead accurate when written.

It wouldn't change much if the map was accurate, it would just mean people would be crossing the border to the Northeast, rather than North.
People aren't going from Mexico North across the border because of the climate. |
