I bought this mouse a few months ago, and it is the best mouse I have ever owned. The batteries last forever, and the scroll wheel is as smooth as silk. It is also very accurate!

Great deal SG.

The problem I have with this version of the MS mouse (which I got with the Wireless Desktop Elite) is that the scroll wheel doesn't click. I like to set my default scroll action to page-at-a-time and it's a PITA to use a mouse that doesn't give you the feedback for one scroll  So I mostly use my Logitech MX1000.

I use a free utility called Flywheel that gives more functionality to the wheel.

Sorry if I'm stepping on someone's toes, but I've never liked Apple's styling direction, especially of their peripheral devices. This "mighty mouse" might do is job, but I find it extremely ugly. Sorry!

As for that MS mouse...I have that one with my Desktop Elite set. Agree with all points - smoothest scrolling I've ever seen. I'm still running now on the 3rd month on the same batteries. My old Logitech MX700 only lasted 1.5 months.
