Server Issues this morning
 

Dear X3world / X5world / X6world community,

Our ISP performed some unscheduled software updates on our internet server this morning. The server is slowing recovering, but there remain some issues that are being worked through. Please be patient, and we appologize for any inconvenience.

Thanks for the heads up.. was wondering what was going on. I assume it's still an issue somewhat? I can browse the forums, but when I try and go into a thread, I get a white page. When I sign out of the forum, i can browse forums and enter threads.. then if i sign in, I can still see the thread, and THEN make a post.

Not a complaint, I just hope that some more info / details on what the issues are may help resolve it...

Yeah the search isn't working too good right now either nor the home page links...

A full restart was just performed. Let us know if this helped or hurt

Strangest thing. It's working for me under Internet Explorer but not working under Firefox -- I can't see the posts in the latter.

I'm going to try clearing cookies, temp files, etc.

also try logging out (which clears your cookies) and log back in. That helped a lot for me.

Yes, cleaned out all temp files, cookies, etc. and did a reboot. Working in Firefox for me now too.

Edited to say that I still have issues in Firefox... I'm doing this edit in IE as Firefox can't get to the posts again. I guess there's something weird going on my Firefox -- no issues with other websites though.

Some other members reported problems accessing the site today with Firefox.... it is not just you. ;)
