If only they would "push" AT&T aside and let in Verizon...

Now this "Tilt"...First of all it is a BRICK and seems to weigh 5x that of the iPhone. Next, the thing has buttons all over and after playing with it for 1/2 hour I could barely make a phone call let alone figure out the email or browser. This thing is about as anti-intuitive as it gets.

Sure it has a TON of bells and whistles, voice command, touch screen, button or pen. A real keyboard as well as other things the iPhone does not have.

Truth is someone who never used an iPhone could work the entire phone in 5 minutes without even looking at the manual. I was frustrated in half that time with the Windows based "tilt" and I'm a PC guy using Vista.

the company called HTC..it's the original maker for most of the PPC round here...
it's good I'm using with the iPhone (I have the HTC SIM Free version, it called HTC TyTn II), it's really doing good...it handles all my books...and programs and all the medical things I need....
but nothin on the market right now works like an iPhone....the OS and MultiTouch are great...will see also what Apple will do next month...

also I liked the new HTC Diamond, did u see it? it's really good!

Can't you use it with MS office 2004 for MAC? LOL

Well, IMO it will just put it in par with the BB Curve as far as apps and push email.. it will still have media and browser on all BBs though.

Well.. remember it's a mock up of what Boy Genius speculate it looks like. Much like someone doing a photoshop of an X7 - it may look like a GL 450 or QX56 but with a BMW roundel LOL.

BGR has included a self-made mockup (above) of what the device may look like, but as of now, no one has laid eyes on this mythical creature.

Just as long Apple does not control the software distribution too tightly...

Here are the things I need (which I already have on my old Treo):
1. Tons of Medical Programs
2. Good PIM software
3. Electronic checkbook accounting program
4. Push e-mail--compatible with IMAP idle
5. SMS and MMS
6. Cut and Paste
7. Verizon coverage (AT&T reception really sucks around here)
8. 3G (though it is coming next month on Iphone 2.0)
9. Better Battery system (I can run 3G/Push E-mail/Talk on phone/SMS all day without battery running out...have 2600 mAh battery and if it does run out, pop a back-up battery....

Apple needs to release the iPhone to other carriers if they truly want to trump above all....However, all in good time....

The software and phone carrier is what is holding me back with the use of the iPhone....also, the software keyboard thing is really slow compared with a real keyboard on my clunky Treo.

Add SD card to your list.

Cut/Copy & paste and ability to swap with back-up battery is what I miss most on iPhone.
