Question about an Obama statement

Obama in a interview Sen. Barack Obama ripped into a Republican ad today that targets comments made by his wife, Michelle, and called the GOP tactic "low class" and "detestable."

This was in a response to a GOP commercial where Americans were praising the United States of America followed by Michelle Obama statement at a campaign rally "for the first time in my adult life, I am proud of my country."

Though I think the commercial was silly the comments she make at a PUBLIC CAMPAIGN RALLY are fair game. She is after-all running for First Lady.

If you wish to remain out of the Frey don't jump into the Arena.

Along the same lines as Hillary not wanting her daughter questioned when Chelsea was getting into it.

To put this into perspective: His comments verbatim were:

"The GOP, should I be the nominee, can say whatever they want to say about me, my track record," Obama said. "If they think that they're going to try to make Michelle an issue in this campaign, they should be careful because that I find unacceptable, the notion that you start attacking my wife or my family."

"Whoever is in charge of the Tennessee GOP needs to think long and hard about the kind of campaign they want to run, and I think that's true for everybody, Democrat or Republican," Obama said in the ABC interview, adding: "These folks should lay off my wife."

Those were his comments, but if your way if going to stomp the trail with you...she is a valid target.

I saw it. His demeanor changed during those comments
and he seemed serious as a heart attack.
It was like "don't mess with me kind of serious".

So if a foreign leader makes fun of his wife, is he going to bomb em?

....ahh if you didn't get it..that was a joke...

If she continues to stump for him separately and continue to present attack speeches, she's fair game. Instance is similar to Hillary, saying she's ready to step into the Presidancy and then she cries when she did not win some primaries. If you take an active role and make contraversial statements, then you're fair game.

And Chelsea? What was so difficult about asking you whether your father was a good president? It sure took you long enough to come up with an answer.

Don't pipe up if you don't want to be involved. Love it when politicos can't keep their trap shut then say "oh, don't go after me..it isn't my campaign"...please.
