This is starting to be a trend. Seems Obama is surprised yet again about the radical views and conduct of another of his long time friends and advisers. In the case of Rev.Wright and Pfleger who were Obama's "Spiritual Advisors". Obama cited Pfleger, along with Wright, as one of his spiritual advisers in a 2004 Chicago Sun-Times story

The relationship between Obama, a one-time community activist on Chicago's South Side, and the outspoken priest at the activist St. Sabina Church has been a long one. As a state senator, Obama secured two grants related to Pfleger's church - one for $100,000 to repair The Ark community center at the church in 2000 and the other for $125,000 for computers at the church's employment resource center. For his part, Pfleger, 59, has donated $1,500 to Obama's campaigns for state office and another $1,500 to his presidential campaign. Aides say Obama has rarely visited St. Sabina, although he cited Pfleger, along with Wright, as one of his spiritual advisers in a 2004 Chicago Sun-Times story. Pfleger helped Obama's Iowa campaign by taking part in a faith forum.
Seems almost everyone else knew this guy was a Radical Crackpot as seen in that new video going around about Hillary. Obama is the only one surprised...And disapointed.

What exactly was their relationship besides sitting on one of Obama's committees up until two weeks ago? Let's ask Pfleger:

In early May, Pfleger posted a letter on the parish Web site calling Obama and Wright "two friends who I respect, admire and have a deep love for." He wrote that neither man should be held accountable for the other's words. "The truth is we need Senator Barack Obama and we need Reverend Jeremiah Wright and, if we are serious about wanting a new America, we cannot afford to throw either one of them under the bus!"

Obama's new America is looking quite frightening.

BTW...$125,000 buys a lot of PC's. Figure $500 per PC and that means there must have been 250 computers in that employment resource center.

I'm just glad to see the Hillary nut jobs still chanting "DENVER". I watched the coverage of the DNC yesterday, it was great. Showed them for the POS they really are. People in the audience kept interrupting, kept chanting...and they wondered why the committee spent so much time at lunch :tsk:

It was a ton of fun watching Hillary's super delegates try to build arguments then get a 100% rebuttal.

New buzz word "fair reflection". That is what Hillary's camp wanted applied to a 600K voter turn out in Michigan where Hillary was pretty much the only candidate, that and the fact that Michigan refused to track write-in votes because the person hadn't been "accepted". Another good one was in FL where they kept going on about 1 million voters coming out, then they were told there are over 4 million democrats in FL :rofl:

One guy even quoted, directly, Clinton's statement from NH saying "I know these votes will not count in Florida and Michigan.". Oops. Followed by "you can't change the rules at the end of the game, when I was a kid we called that cheating."

Hey Wagner...That employment resource center has one full time employee. They have a fax machine copy machine some computers and a laser printer people can use. I'm sure that $125,000 earmarked for computers was well spent...REALLY.

Oh...Accorning to their website they help about 20 people a day. It's great that they help 20 people a day don't get me wrong. But seriously, can you fathom how a center with one full time employee seeing 20 people a day might need $125,000 for computers?

I would sure like to see receipts.

You and I both know she is looking for is a reason to stay in the race. She is just going about this in the wrong way IMO. There is a lot that can happen between now and August and Hillary is just fighting to stay revelent at all costs. There are so many strange characters like Wright and Pfleger coming out of the woodwork turning off white voters I can see there being a good chance some of this will stick come November. That full sermon from Pfleger was VERY offensive even before Hillary's name was mentioned. He started off by saying that every "White" person needed to throw away their 401k's, and trust funds because all white people are are responsible for the past. Unless we are willing to make that sacrifice we are guilty of continuing the inequality.

I saw this earlier this week and couldn't even watch it, I was so disgusted. What's more is the fact that so many in attendance were cheering the commentary. I guess that clown forgot the mass increase the US had in population during the early 20th century in the Northeast. None of which were slave owners or descendants of. I guess he also forgot how horrific life was for Germans, Italians and Polish that came to the US in the turn of the century as well as the Native Americans that were nearly exterminated.

This type of thing infuriates me coming from a family of Germans who came to this place, lived in the burros of South Philadelphia and served this country in WWII, Korea and Vietnam. Amazing, amazing, amazing. Rant over.
