NBA fans, where are you? who's your favorite team and who' winning the title this upcoming season?


My favorite team will always be the L.A Lakers and my predictions on who's winning the title, easy answer...San Antonio Spurs

With Michael Finley choosing to play for the Spurs, I'm going with the Spurs to win it again!!!!!

Yup, it's almost unfair now, they didn't lose any signficant players..Tony Parker, Manu will only improve...Duncan is the most boring superstar in any sports but that doesn't change anything he'll still be himself and with the additions of Nick Van Exel and Michael Finley off the bench, WOW! watch out for this team

On a sidenote, the Lakers may be close to getting Sprewell supposedly..not that it will turn them into western conference finalists overnight but i'll take any talent our way

I am a HUGE NBA fan...

I have been a big Laker fan my whole life - I grew up watching Showtime and Magic and so forth...

But in the last 5 years or so, I have been getting into the Clippers (I know, I know)... I now have season tickets for the Clippers and try and go as much as possible. I just love watching the game.

I heard some talk of a NFL fantasy league for members of X5 world. How about an NBA fantasy league set up thru Yahoo??

Earvin "Magic" Johnson is my all time favorite player, loved to watch the Lakers and Celtics battle for the title in the 80's. I was a Sonics fan when Payton, Schrempf and Kemp were in their prime (they came the closest to beating the Bulls in the '96 finals if I recall), now I am back with the hometeam Wiz. I can't hang with fantasy NBA, I don't read the sports page cover to cover anymore.

BTW...there's a show called "Battleground" hosted by LeBron James on MTV2 that looks like it'll be good when it premieres soon. Saw the promo this afternoon during PMR.
