Good story...Although the article depicts BMW drivers as the only ones who try to do that....Its way off base...Its the driver that acts a fool, not the car...And I've seen plenty of non BMW's try the same thing..in fact I've never seen a Bimmer do that...

I was on the NY Thruway last night and this guy in a Black M3 (Jersey plates) comes blasting through, changing lanes and just going may to fast. He must be a very special person.

On the other hand, I was on the NY Thruway north on Friday two cars were going slow in the fast lane, I got in front of one in the slow lane (2 LANE HIGHWAY) and tried to move back over, however she did not want to let me in, so I just moved over real slow, she hit the horn but she had to let me in. Was I rude, yes but I got around the second car in other min and was able to cruise freely.

That is a funny story. Especially the attitude about BMW drivers.

This guy is totally off base. He thinks all tri-state drivers are BMW drivers! :nana2:

I love the comments blasting the writer. Its such a generalization that I am amazed it made it to print... then i remembered it was the Sun and an iliterate infant can write for them. Nearly every editorial I read is whining, even in the sports pages.

Last night a grey E90 330i tried to race me...in a 40 zone.

But luckily an RS4 zooms by at least ~65 and the poor 330i unsuccessfully tried to catch up.....

And this area always has cops out looking for speeders.
