Wow.... I wonder how he managed to steal them.. I mean you can't just walk out the door with a nav computer under your coat...

Yeah he did! When I did the factory tour they explained all the benefits that even the factory workers get.. It's amazing how well BMW treats their workers! It also explains why there's a six-year waiting list to get a job with them!

Daang!! Six years is a long time. I don't see why he wouldn't have been able to. At our plant here in Chicago, some guy was stealing entire engines. These weigh upwards of 1500lbs. He did it at night when a lot of people left. I believe they found him to have the world's largest pocket :p .

Back when I was in IT, we had a guy stealing laptops by shipping empty containers back to Gateway on repair items and then fixing them (usually bad hard drive). It took a while before anyone caught on. This guy had worked for the company for about eight years. :wtf:

I had a guy working for me 3 jobs ago who was responsible for fixing broken computer equipment. He was shipping stuff back to the manufacturer for repair and giveing them his home address as the return to address once it was fixed. He would just tell everyone that the equipment wasn't fixable and he threw it away. We had him arrested.

Had another guy at my last job would specify saturday delivery for new equipment, show up on saturday and 5 finger discount some of it and then claim it never showed up. We had him and the Finance Director arrested. He was also inflating the qty numbers on orders, and then shipping the extras back, when the refund checks would come, he and the FD were cashing them and splitting the $$$$. We had him and the FD arrested.

people suck.
