What's the difference in re-using a razor blade versus re-using an electric shavor

I have no idea, I won't use an electric razor or re-use a razor blade. To each his own.

A good blade will last a week on facial hair.

Interesting post... I say that because just the other night I was watching some military or HD or Science channel, I forget which...

And I saw an advertisement for a little machine that you can buy that will resharpen any razor. Sort of works on the same theory as a knife sharpener for your kitchen. But I don't think it grinds, it only sands..

I was thinking of getting one and was going to post here to see in anyone had any experience with them. It does make sense though that you probably could, easily, sand those blades with a little electrical device and get them crisp again.

p.s. - my frequency of blade changes depends directly on how many days I go before a shave. If I shave everyday, the blade lasts long. But if I go a few days and the blade needs to work hard, sometimes it won't even last a whole shave. If I have a week of growth, sometimes it takes two blades to get a clean, un-irritated, shave.

And I'm not a "hairy guy".... Just normal.

So who wants to be the guinea pig?
