I suppose dogs are more friendly, but they also require much more attention and much more time to take care of. I prefer a cat. They are easier, and if you need to go away overnight, they are not going to sit by the door and cry all night while you are gone, so you won't feel too bad about it. They are much more self sufficient.

As Paulie Walnut's from The Sopranos said "Cats are snakes with fur." I personally hate 'em and I'm with cmyx5go 100%

I like both cats and dogs, however the big plus for a cat is that you don't have to walk it.

I think a dog is generally more loving however I have great cat that comes when it is called(sometimes if it feels like) is loving and is in no way spiteful.

My choice is dog.... but there is no replacement for Caturday!!!!

always been dog lover. german shepperd, husky/chow mix, bishon/maltese mix. Never had a cat except stray ones coming over.

Cats are cool however dogs are full of love and always remind you that you are the best person in their life every time you see them.
