Watched parts of it when they ran it before.
They have advertised it for a while.

So after having seen that part you have concluded "Just another CNN move to perpetuate a line between black and white. imo." ???

Yes. I was speaking with a friend about it yesterday who for the life of him couldn't understand why blacks (and he is black) refer to themselves as African-Americans. We concluded separation is driven by more then society.

Why do blacks call themselves Black?
Why do the Irish call themselves "Irish American"
Ect Ect. It's an endless effort by everyone to
engage in what they say their trying to avoid.

"THE DISCUSSION"

We discussed the facts that society loves to create labels. One of his comments was in regards to the black/white focus, when living in LA he had far more problems, and his family did, with those of Hispanic origin. His thought was it was simply easier, and more acceptable, to go after "white" America. When applying labels.

We chatted as well about inner city schools and what you do with a youth that puts no value in education.
