Help finding rest stops on a map please

So I've been looking at maps.google and mapquest. Maybe I'm doing something wrong but I was hoping to plot out ALL the rest stops between Philly PA and Bentonville AR. My parents are driving out next week and it's highly likely they're bringing my grandma who is almost 90. My parents asked if I could identify the rest stops for them, that'd be great. Thing is, I'm having no luck :( Would anyone here mind helping?

Not sure if this will help, but here's the interstates they'll be on....

I-76 W through PA
I-70 W through PA and WV
I-470 and I-70 W through OH
I-70 W through IN and IL
I-55 S though IL
I-44 W through MO

thanks again. isn't there some software or websites that should have this info?????

probably not. Besides from manually searching through a paper atlas, it's hard to find them online. There must be hundreds. The best advice would just to keep their eyes peeled at the signs and when they see rest stop-4 miles, start getting in the right lane. I know it might be helpful knowing exactly where they are to plan out stops, but keep in mind you don't have to stop at a dedicated rest stop, you can also just stop at a McDonalds to use the restroom, stretch your legs, and get a bottle of water.
What car are they taking?
Best of luck

Thanks man... this is Ken on Nicole's account. They're taking their 06 DeVille (dad's a Cadi man). The main concern was just trying to plan for my grandma. If it was just them, I don't think it'd matter. But two 10 hour drives is going to be a bit taxing on her and I think they were going to try and stop about every 2 hours. Thanks again for the reply.

why subject the woman to 20 hours in a car, can't she fly? seems a bit cruel to me. :(

Try the Travel centers of America's website
Search by interstate and that should give you the rest areas.

If you check DOT web sites of states they are traveling through it will give you the rest area locations. Here is Illinois's

Unfortunately, no. My parents flew out last year, and considering the flights I've been on (as well as Nicole), the planes are "too cramped" if you can believe it. My parents and I talked about it and they felt she would be better making the drive instead of flying. They're not driving straight through though... they're stopping over night in Indy which is about half way.
