The link is not opening....

But I don't get it.. Ford was so successful with the Ford GT, why don't they keep making those?

Yes, I understand it's a different price point but why they made that car for only two years I'll never understand.

There are very few cars I would consider trading my 997 Porsche Turbo in for and the Ford GT is one of them.

GT40 was too overpriced, list $150K with..at some times..$40K markups.

Priced any Ford GT cars lately? Damn, those are going up in value.

Go Cerberus Go. Chrysler will just end up being broken down and sold off.

I haven't been watching the market.. What is going on with the GT's?

I know they were priced with a premium for a long time, then they started to sell at MSRP. There was even a point where you could grab a slightly used one for 85% value or so...

What is going on with the car now?

I think the MSRP was reasonable for what the car is. It was the markups that were the killer. But the people who were patient and worked hard to get one, were able to find one at MSRP..

The markup cars went to those, I HAVE TO HAVE IT NOW, people.
