The look you get from the DSLR lenses for video is incredible! It's tough to get that shallow DOF from video gear unless you spend huge dollars.

Great googly moogly! That is frickin' insane! I cannot believe that was done with a DSLR, even if it required mass dollars worth of lenses.

I knew you would appreciate that video Kev..

I wonder what lenses they used?

I watched it twice and showed my wife. She was blown away that it was done with a DLSR too. They have a 5D at work and some L lenses. I haven't gotten my hands on the lenses... yet. It's not just the fact that it was shot with a DSLR but the piece itself is visually stunning and from a lay person's perspective, great art.

Lenses he used:

EF Lenses used in the making of REVERIE:
FD 7.5mm f/5.6 (converted to EF mount)
EF 16-35mm f/2.8L II USM
EF 24-70mm f/2.8L USM
EF 50mm f/1.2L USM
EF 85mm f/1.2L II USM
EF 135mm f/2L USM
EF 200mm f/1.8L USM
EF 400mm f/2.8L IS USM
EF 500mm f/4L IS USM
TS-E 24mm f/3.5L
TS-E 45mm f/2.8

Care to add up the cost of all that glass? :wow:
