HAIL CONGRESS

Just love how Nancy Pelosi, Barny Frank, Harry Reid and the other band of thieves stand in front of a microphone and announce how they stepped forward and saved the American people as hero's.

Truth is those three particularly Barny Frank are in part responsible for the collapse and necessary bail out. Bush and his administration are also to blame but PLEASE...No wonder the approval rating of the Congress is at an all time low.

Sad thing is the sound byte public will end up buying this snow job.

We deserve what we get...

Yes, 2T added to our debt. Wonderful. So with this, the "stimulus pkg", etc, how much money has this Congress shoveled out in the last 2 years? :wow:

I really don't get the smiling. Had they done their job, the collective leaders that is, this should have never happened. It's like golf, when you pull one into the woods then have to chip it into the green...you don't praise that. You had to do it to survive, and you lost a stroke. :dunno: I guess they just..don't.. get it. As you said, we deserve what we get. Morons electing morons.

Unbelievable these focking maggots have the nerve to stand in front of the camera and blame Bush for lack of regulation. I'll be even more pissed if the Republicans don't put together an ad showing these lying POS scumbags "before" and "now" regarding their position on regulating Fannie and Freddie.

What a disgrace. Democrats must be proud of these fcuktards.

Tell us how you really feel. :)

I feel your pain. Apparently intelligence in the voting populace is lacking. It will be more interesting in the following weeks when the BS candidates tell how great it is. That followed by a FED rate cut driving the dollar farther into the toilet and pushing oil even higher. Two years from now, they'll wonder what went wrong. I realize W. Buffet said this had to be done, and that is fine, but "smiling" is not.

"We sent a message to Wall Street - the party is over," she said at a press conference with Reid and other Democratic leaders from the House and Senate.
Sent a message? Really, what was that? That the tax payers have now bailed your collective @sses out.

One positive effect of the failed bailout is lower oil prices and a stronger dollar. I guess if Congress passes something later this week we can expect the opposite. :(

NEW YORK (AP) -- Oil prices tumbled more than $10 a barrel Monday, dropping back below $100 as a U.S. financial bailout failed to win legislative approval, raising fears of a prolonged economic downturn that could drastically erode global energy demand.

You really need a giant panorama shot of the entire House & Senate,
to get all the "thieves" in the pic, imo.

Add in the Fannie/Freddie maggots, most big shots in the hundreds of
unelected bureaucracies, the geniuses that invented CreditDefaultSwaps, etc,
add in the investment bank Masters of the Universe, et al. ...
