Well, just turn off the 3G and don't have your phone push e-mail so much.

No problem with my Centro lasting through the day with 3G and push e-mail and even got a standard size extended battery with about 200 mAh more juice than OEM battery. But, hey, when the battery runs low, I just pop out one battery and put in the spare. No biggie.

iPhone is a really cool multimedia/web browsing phone, but wished they made the battery removable.

Almost perfect cause the signal it receives is so-so :dunno:

Battery life is always the issue with these new devices that can do so much. I have to be conservative if I want the battery on my HTC Mogul to last all day. I usually have BT on all day but have kept push off as that is the single biggest battery suck. Also, after a year the original battery was shot. Luckily I could just buy a new one and replace the old. That is one major PITA about the iPhone.

I'm excited about the HTC Touch HD. Wow!

The iPhone 3G is so good (not perfect) that I can tolerate the poor battery life. I just have to charge it every night --- which is fine as it just goes into the docking cradle.

Why are you excited about the HTC Touch HD? It looks good but it's not coming to the USA... :(

There's nothing in the article that hasn't been said before. I found the comments at the bottom of the article better reading than the article itself.

I found most of the comments made at the bottom of the page untrue.

#1 You can take vocal note if you install the app that does it

#2 Old people who have issues mentioned couldn't use most
phones that have any interface

#3 You can send a picture message

#4 The iPhone can forward e-mail messages

LOL, relax Barry. I said it was interesting reading (other people's opinions), I didn't say I agreed with all of it.

I noticed a HUGE improvement in battery capacity in my iPhone after that last major update. The capacity almost doubled and I use my phone all the time as a PDA, Phone and I use the built in iPod at least an hour every day at the Gym.
