Um, wouldn't it have to float on water to prove the point? Looks like it's built on a barge. A modern steel barge. Don't get me wrong, I believe there was a Noah and an Ark. Just not that the whole Earth was covered, or every animal and sub-species (i.e. two german shepards, two pugs, two english sheep dogs, etc.) was on board. Nice story though.

"It was built approximately to scale, however is 1/2 the length and 1/3 the width of the Biblical dimensions."

According to the article the construction of it was partly to show the world how massive the Ark was. It was built approximately to scale, however is 1/2 the length and 1/3 the width of the Biblical dimensions. Floating it in this case would not be necessary to prove the point.

I understand the part of 'showing' the scale. My understanding of the word approximate was obviously flawed! I would like to see it at the correct Biblical scale and floating, but I guess it's better than nothing. That is all. Oh yeah, and put through a 40 day/40 night washing machine type storm. AND we all know it was built from Gopher wood.
