V&I got a call to go do "nine" with another couple this past Sunday;
it was sunny and clear and, maybe 42 at 1:00 tee time. We played
18, natch. It was ~32 at finish. My hands and ears were froze...
shot a 39 front and a freakin freezin 52 on back. Couldn't feel the
club even with thin winter golf gloves and became disinterested. :rolleyes:

If the remaining Geezers chase it tomorrow, I may and, if I do,
I'll be in shorts. Sort of a trademark. And, if I have to wear pants
it's probably too freakin cold to chase it neway, is my theory. :D

My HDCP is back up to 14.3/16 Home. My CEO's is down to 16.9/18
Home; she had an 83 here last week,(37 Back!), her best ever at
this track. At least one Player in the Fam! :thumbup:

We have the first tee time on Saturdays at my club. It's great for the summer when it's really hot but for the first hour or so in the winter it can be brutal and sometimes we have hour and a half frost delays. The cold is one reason my handicap goes up in the winter (already 9.2 currently from a low of 7.5 this summer).

I now wear pants even in the summer. Two fewer things to slather with sunscreen :p: and the new technical fabric pants are quite cool :cool:
