Remember the ugly girl posing on Integra thread? Well, I just went to look to see if it was updated, but nowhere was it found because of an incident that happened today.

Apparently, one of the members who was being mocked by others (this isnt related to integra btw) said he wanted to OD, and kept lying about it for a few weeks. Then, he set up a live feed, told people he was going to do it, and overdosed. Forum members contacted emergency services, who on webcam, raided the room and tried to save him, but it was unsuccessful.

Wow Just Watched the Video On It and I'm Stunned. I feel terrible for his family and for him to feel that bad that the only thing he could do was kill himself.

Looks to me like that bodybuilding forum is filled with douchbags that mock anyone they can and have no remorse about it! At first I thought it was just an isolated incident with the girl posing with the integra, but now this? I feel sorry that his family/friends have to deal with this, and that he felt that suicide was the answer to his problems.

Maybe the incessant working out and then having to post about it online is showing their own feelings of inadequacies in themselves, which lets in to why they mock others... to feel better about themselves. And a bodybuilding forum is a place for all the people trying to overcompensate for poor self image can come together, and make things worse. Horray internet... :(

:wow: Some people take criticism in these message forums a bit too personal. That said, I cannot possibly imagine that his entire unhappiness was related to an online message forum. Perhaps just an outlet to vent his frustrations.

Proof that Steroids are detrimental to brain function. It makes me sick to see people egging him on even if he made the threat before but to then mock him after it was obvious he followed through and killed himself...That places them pretty low on the food chain IMO.

As for watching the video...I'll pass.

What the hell is wrong with people? How sad. I will not watch the video, nor did I read the thread. I did go to the site and there is a bunch of threads on the subject and still people are defending their actions calling the kid a troll. I don't get it. Can these dirtbags be held responsible to some degree? I have to believe the authorities know about the thread.

After looking around that thread for a few minutes, most of the avatar pictures I saw were people showing off their abs, but with their faces covered... which does depict to me that they are indeed having self worth/self image problems which is probably why they are all sooo un supportive to eachother and turn to steroids and other drugs...... So that forum created with good intent has become filled with messed up, weak willed people with emotional problems...:( :dunno:
