Slumdog Millionaire

I just watched this movie tonight with my older cousins, and HIGHLY recommend it to all of you. Really an absolutely fantastic production in every way you can analyze a movie, from beginning to end. One of those movies really worth going to the theater for.

I'm not good at writing reviews, so I'll let you read them. :)

I saw it last night and thought it was absolutely fantastic.

I'm a big fan of the director, Danny Boyle who also directed:
Shallow Grave, Trainspotting, 28 Days Later. Slumdog will certainly be viewed as one of his masterpieces for years to come.
(I believe it was written by the guy who wrote The Full Monty)

And don't be surprised when this one gets a gaggle of nods come Oscar time.

Go see it.

Now in my Netflix queue. Thanks, V

I agree. This movie was great in every way, but if there was one thing that really stood out, it was the direction. Really great work.

LOL, then you're going to have to wait until 2009.

Slumdog isn't released on dvd yet, it just hit the theaters. Actually, it was given a very limited release and I think it only opened on about 35 screens nationwide.

I have a strong feeling, due to the buzz on the street, it's going to get a major theatrical release and a strong P&A push along with it.

So go see it in a theater. I promise, you'll think it's one of the best films of 2008.

Why isn't the movie in most theaters? It's only in a few around here.

Not playing anywhere around my area... I guess I'll have to wait.

I'm in no hurry.

I haven't been to a theater to see a movie in many years.

I can wait for it to come out on Netflix either on DVD or on demand. We've got something like 280 titles ahead of it in the queue already :p:

Try Palace Theater in Harahan or Landmark Canal Place Cinema.
