Interesting weather today in the foothills of the Appalachians where my dorm is. Aside from the grayness and cold (below 0°C all day), a handful of snow showers swept by. But just a 20min drive west, you get some of this:

Pic taken at Afton Mountain where the Rockfish Gap is, elevation 585m (1915ft). Fog and snow, interesting combination. Oh and it was -4° there. :cool:

did light snow in Western MD all day. Nice with the Christmas lights :)

I'm gonna get to be around "real" snow for the first time really soon! Being in south Louisiana I've only seen 1 inch of snow one time in my life... will be in New Jersey for a week right before Christmas, I'm looking forward to it, but am kinda dreading the kind of cold I've never felt before!

we got several inches today/last night in IL. All the plows (public and private) were out!

im going skiing in boone next week. that should be fun.

Yeah, we got boring weather, it was in the 70s today, driving around with the sunroof open...

No snow here this morning. Just a dusting on the cars and some traces on the roofs of houses.

Just cleared the PM box... I will be free from around 5:30ish on, the 15th through the 18th in woodridge NJ, but leaving today for a week in Davie Florida near Ft. Lauderdale. Two weeks of training back to back. Won't be around the computer for that time... But I could sure go for a few drinks and maybe some pool at a bar :D Something tells me not to put my phone# randomly on the board, so I'll just PM it to you...

So weasel goes out of town, hoping to see snow.

A rare snowfall blanketed south Louisiana Thursday, with accumulations of up to four inches. Heavy snow was blowing through downtown New Orleans.
