Know a couple of people that were probably on that flight. Haven't been able to get any response from the ones that I've reached out to. Good to hear that that the mayor "thinks" that all 155 people are OK...

BTW, I have been able to confirm that at least two of people that I was wondering about were on the plane from the news footage of some the passengers.

That is an amazing sight and a miracle that all ended well. And to think that I ignore those flight attendant safety demonstrations. :tsk:

Kudos to the pilot. I am sure the passengers were scared to death till they were rescued. Some will never get on plane again.

Yes the Pilot and a lot of other people did a great job.

The system worked and gives me more confidence when getting on a plane.

Even though the economy is in the dumps the system worked!

What does the state of the economy have to do with the evacuation plan for a plane crashing in a river?
