Well, as Dandy Don Meredith used to try and sing, in the old ABC Monday Night Football booth,
"Turn out the lights, the party's over..." :yawn:

On my HD Sony it looks even worse: like an NAIA college playing against
a pro team. The Beags should be embarrassed and chagrined.

I need to kick this annual heartbreak and addiction to these bums. :(

They made a game of it, but I can't say that I'm unhappy that the Cards won.

Go number 5 loses yet another one. You could tell from the 1st two quarters that he wasn't on at all. Coupled with the PI on Curtis that 'cough' wasn't called :thumbdown: Epic fail on the Eagles part...go 9-6-1 :(

packing on Monday am.

It was not nearly as "close" a game as the late nail biting and score
would lead one to believe. A couple of good/lucky plays interspersed
amongst 3 dozen crummy, inept plays is their typical performance.

A continual heartbreaking bunch of knuckleheads, imo.

If I were Celeck, I'd want traded..same goes for Jackson/Curtis/Michael/Demps/Avant/Buckhalter

They are just so predictable. And the defense played piss-poor in the beginning but then turned it off somewhat. However, you can't have D on the field all damn game..I don't care how good they are.

MAJOR PROPS to Warner. That man should do ads for Citizen Watch Co.

Here's my summary of the game....

When you play 30 minutes instead of 60, you're gonna lose
When you have a fattie calling the plays, going for 1 instead of 2, you're gonna lose
When you miss that said 1, you're gonna lose
When you miss short yardage field goals, you're gonna lose
When you don't convert your 2 points, you're gonna lose
When you throw behind you receivers, you're gonna lose
When your receivers drop EASY catches, you're gonna lose
When you commit stupid penalties, you're gonna lose
When you have two blatant pass interference not called at crucial moments, you're gonna lose
When you change up a defensive strategy that is working, back to the one not working, you're gonna lose
When you get out hustled on every play and don't use double coverage where/when needed, guess what..... you gonna lose

The Cards showed up with a lot of heart and they deserved that win. This off season is going to suck... along with the next few years I believe :(

The defensive gameplan by the Eagles was horrendous... You blitz Warner..They made that adjustment in the second half somewhat, and what do ya know, the Eagles were able to get stops and come back. If they blitzed the whole game they probably would've had the lead early and won late.

You blitz Warner put him under pressure, if he has to move his feet even just a little bit he can't accurately get the ball to Fitzgerald, or on time. Eagles D Coordinator has alot to answer for. They were treating Warner like he is Peyton Manning...WRONG. Philly's D, lost this game for them...

And yes, anyway you look at it, it was absolutely without question pass interference on that last 4th Down play for the Eagles, and it was not called. That ref who was standing there should be fined .
