Who's bright idea was this!!!
I see more & more cars and trucks that whenever u lock them, the reverse lights are ON for a min or 2. It has happened to many times already in parking lots where it looks like the person is backing up...but then I realize that I am waiting there like an idiot because the car is empty.
$$$hitttt!!!! LOL my rant:rofl: |
Yeah I don't understand why GM does this. It should be illegal because it's very confusing. I've done the same as well, you're not alone.
|
Yup, I admit I got duped too.
|
That's GM way of telling the world they are moving backwards. They did a $$hitty job of it. :)
|
I've never seen that. What a stupid-azz idea....

I haven't noticed it yet. That is a moronic feature. The reverse lights are suppose to serve as a warning, especially for pedestrians in parking lots. With brain fart ideas like that it's no wonder GM is on the ropes.
|
Its really a pain. Especially when it gets your hopes up for a parking spot when the mall is full...but it ends up being an extra kick in the @$$
|
I see a lawsuit coming. If your are hit by a GM vehicle with this feature backing out you can argue that it was GM's fault because you could not determine if the car was really in reverse or just parked based on the GM parking light reverse light configuration. I'm also guessing that if you were a pedestrian you could walk behind a GM with this feature backing out and get hit and file a lawsuit with the same contention.
This needs a recall ASAP. |

I fing hate that. The brake light goes on and off too, so it looks like they shift, step off and on the brake and off again. STUPID STUPID STUPID! |
