I know that it is not a X5...

or a BMW for that matter but what do you guys think about the Porsche Cayman? I know that some of you are huge fans for porsche (sorry if I am bringing up bitter sweet memmories Kev). I understand that it is like a boxster with a roof.

Just read the R&T review... Sounds to me like it's the Porsche to have!

I like the Cayman and actually seriously considering one. It's to fill the spot between the Boxster and the 911's. All the reviews I read have been very positive and should be a great car!

Boo hoo!!! :bawling: The Cayman S is the Porsche to have, IMO. The rags all rave about it. I really like the looks of it too, with the exception of the foglights and the side air intakes. I say go for it! It's schweet! I am actually entertaining the idea of a non-S Cayman when that comes out. FWIW, my dealer told me that is the only P-Car they intend to mark up above MSRP. My guess is because they are cashing in on demand and also to make sure they don't steal 997 sales from themselves.

How is the service on these cars? Not sure if this is true but I hear that the dealer had to lower the motor just to do the oil change. Like most of the members on the forum, I really like to drive!!! I guess that is the price you pay for have a performance vehicle. I like the styling. I think it is very agressive yet keeps the porsche lines.

I am in the same boat with you. we'll see how long the wait is. It may be as long as a M5.

I like it. But, I'm sticking with the boxster! :D
