Well it looks like baseball season is back! :band:

My Detriot Tigers starts a new season and hope that it will not be like last year. But, no matter what happens - I will still be a fan!:thumbup: :plane:

Tigers start spring play in the Grapefruit League. Tigers vs Braves tomorrow. And they also, open versuis the Braves opening day (April 1).

And the World Baseball classic (March 5 to 23rd).

GO TIGERS!!!!!!!!!!!

So - I guess no one is excited about baseball! I will have to talk to myself ;(

The Tigers have played spring ball in Lakeland since 1934. The relationship -- interrupted only by World War II -- is the longest continuous agreement between a team and a spring training host city. Joker Marchant Stadium, the team's home since 1966, is built on the site of a World War II flight school.

Go Tigers!! After last year's debacle, I am finding myself this year more in the "wait and see" camp. Cautiously optimistic.

Other than opening day, I get more excited for the Tigers once hockey season is over. Go Wings!!!

i yawn 50% of the time during a baseball game on tv. the other 50% of the time i spend sleeping.

Jeff and I caught a game there (Tigers vs. Yankees) two years ago when we were in town for the SunFest Meet. Our seats were in the 2nd row from the field, right next to the Tigers' dugout. :thumbup:
