Southern Snow

Hows Everyone doin'?

We have a snow day tomorrow! Its a poorly-drained mess, I'm going to make a run for food before it freezes. Thank goodness for AWD and winter tires. I hope there aren't too many idiots within the .5 mile drive...

Haven't checked out the snow fall last night! I know it snowed not that I hace checked weather.com/tv news but, because I hear the damn snow plow hitting the storm drains and roads! Now, have to dig myself out AGAIN! When is this freakin' weather ever going to stop? I swear I am takin' advantage of the weather when it gets warmer!

You dont have winter tires do you? :stickpoke

I'm going to take the 325i sport out for its first winter excursion soon :D It's really cold though, -6,5°C according to the Weather Channel and around 15-20cm (6,8-9in) before its all over.

Good all seasons. I went out last night, DSC off, couldn't get the damn thing to lose traction without the pathetic BMW E-brake.

However, my campus is now coated in a crunchy, white layer of ice/snowy shit because not only did the flooded water freeze, so did the slush. What a mess. Well... At least my Midterm got pushed back.

The roads were completely covered in four inches of snow, but me and my wiiiiiiiiiiiide 20" Toyo Proxes made the 35 mile trek to work safe and sound.

I hope it stays above freezing! Its supposed to be like 15º here, that isn't gonna be fun after a day in the mid thirties of melting.

It snowed just a little bit here about 20 minutes north of Atlanta. This photo was taken just after it started. It was barely enough to coat the roads when it was all said and done. Nothing major, but it was coming down pretty good for a few mintues and the flakes were huge.

By the way, it is supposed to be around 70 degrees here this weekend. :dunno:

Or about 21 C for you AzNM...

Hello there. I'm home since school has also been canceled here in North NJ. About 6 inches so far, and it still is snowing.

Could have used this day of next week, I just got back from my February "Recess" 2 weeks ago. I also lose one day in my April vacation. :(

I can definitely say, one does NOT need all-wheel drive. After this morning, all the driving was done in the 325i including slushy parking lots, offramps, and unplowed side roads. If anything, the lower sport suspension poses a bigger problem with the low ride height.
