Wow she looks bad and I agree, the only thing she had going was her looks. Not only can she not sing she is also annoying as heck! I spy a new spokesperson for Jenny!!!!

I think the USA puts to much focus on weight.

While no one should be grossly overweight, but the need/desire to be supper thin is wrong.

I don't mean 100% of the time, but think about how SHE built her own "brand". She built her image and reputation on being extremely sexual, glamorous, and has usually dressed in provocative, revealing attire. She was the one responsible for that image she is known for. Now, she certainly could have picked an outfit was far less horrendous than what she's wearing that wouldn't have made her to appear so out of shape and not made it look like she'd fallen off the wagon so hard.

Of course it's not every woman's job to always look amazing all the time, but if you're an entertainer who has built your persona around that concept, it behooves you to maintain that image. Now, there are super talented female musicians who have never "sexed-up" their images to appeal to a wider audience and have not faced similar scrutiny when they've added or dropped a few pounds. I'm thinking Kelly Clarkson and Nora Jones but there are others.

Romo and Simpson make their careers based on their performance and appearance. This to me is similar to Romo coming out on to the field next season noticeably heavier, slower and less accurate/not as sharp.

I am not trying to be mean, but her job is to be hot. She is not really talented as a singer or actress, so if the hotness goes, so does her popularity.
