A great Taser video
 

This video is from last weekend's "Coachella Music and Arts Festival" in Indio, California. I was there for the ninth year in a row. I have my reasons for going but it helps that I don't pay a dime to be there. :D

This dude gets owned by three cops who I know pretty well. I just missed the dude in the mobile booking area. He continued to be belligerent and actually kicked a sergeant causing about an inch long cut on the sarge's head. He was definitely on something, most likely LSD.

Note how many times they try to get the guy to just put his clothes back on and how he resists by tensing up and refusing to comply. The fact that he's naked makes it more difficult to control him. Note also nature's cruel joke on him. :eek:

Something about 50,000 volts makes people suddenly compliant :D They should have pepper sprayed him as well, the taser isn't as affective on unfit people on body relaxant drugs as on muscle bound guys that are sober.

Hearing the crowd yelling at the cops, calling them names and such, is disgusting.

The naked guy got everything he deserved. He was resisting arrest and the cops really seemed to be trying to calm him down.

Actually, I don't even know if they wanted to arrest him. They seemed to want him to put clothes on...

Yes it is. I heard that the crowd would be even worse when one of them was getting arrested for drug sales. Some might even try to interfere but were dealt with appropriately. ;)

Darn right he did! He's lucky there is such a thing as a taser other wise it could have been stick time. The guy was definitely under the influence of a drug. His pupils were as big as pie plates. Part of the purpose in detaining him was to assess his well being. These idiots at Coachella take all kinds of drugs and party like there's no tomorrow. The last thing we want is for some kid to take a drug like Ecstacy, or what they think to be X, and go into cardiac arrest.
