Got it for my brother.. Santa Monica BMW. Everything went great.

Sorry I don't have pics but we picked it up this evening and couldn't shoot any. Will take some and post them tomorrow.

In stock. We were trying to find a car without the full merino leather upgrade that cost $3500 but the ones I found also didn't have Heads Up Display..

So we took a model off the floor that was pretty much fully loaded. The 2009 and the 2010 lease rates were exactly the same except the 2009 had the $2500 cash off incentive.

But I actually called every BMW dealer from San Diego to Monterey to Vegas.. Couldn't find it exactly as we wanted it.. So we paid a little more and got some options we would have otherwise forgone.

Had we ordered it, wouldn't have gotten the discount so I guess the upgrades paid for themselves.. hehe..

I heard it takes a while to get used to the SMG...

Let me amend that statement...

I test drove it a month ago. But when it came time to actually get the car, I spent days and days locating, negotiating, etc. Then we actually bought the car we test drove a month earlier.

But when we went to pick it up, even though I did all the work, my bro drove it home. Of course he offered to have me drive it but I insisted he drive his new car.

So I did get to take it for a short spin about 4 weeks ago..
