Question for e90 owners
 

I just purchased a 2006 325i for my wife. The car will be here in about 2 weeks. For people that own this bmw, looking at the pictures could you tell what kind of options does it have? I paid 17k and i'm happy with the basic stuff, better if it comes with some extra options.

How is it possible to buy a car without not knowing how it's specced ???

ZPP Premium Package, Steptronic and Xenon Lights.

As I mentioned in my post I paid for the basic stuff. Better if it comes with something extra. For example 2 years ago I purchased my X knowing that is the base model. To my surprise when I received the car I learned that it has premium sound, side airbags for the rear doors, lumbar support, leather instead of leatherette and privacy windows. The dealer had no idea about all of this otherwise he would have mentioned them. Thanks for the bmwusa tip

Just because you've done this in the past doesn't explain your thinking behind buying a car without knowing how it's spec'd.

How do you know how much it's worth or what to offer or if it has what you want on it?

This is a very odd way to buy a car.

Come on guys! It was a simple question. Why do people have to judge the way I buy a car is beyond me. And in fact is just a car not a house. A few years from now it'll worth close to nothing.

I think you also have split folding rear seats which were optional on E90s. E92s came with that option standard.

If you have any connections with your local BMW dealer, you can have them run the VIN through their internal vehicle history report system. You'll be able to obtain the car's MSRP and option sheet, as well as service history.

This needs to be done by someone with manager level access in BMW's internal reporting system. Sales personnel have limited information access and can only research vehicles that were sold by their dealership. Managers will typically have unlimited access. However, they won't do it for anyone. Typically, you need to be a friend of the dealership.
