In Dubai its the same mid-September to mid October however the Sheikh has ordered 12 X5M's and 12 X6M's for early delivery. The guy didn't tell me the exact day but he said very soon.

BTW, my sister got her 3 series from Irvine BMW. Good dealership.

These are the kind of customers BMW shows the cars in private at auto shows/special events, new cars which are not actually shown to public.

I think the ///M is going to be released in the 4 special "M" colors.. But if I understand correctly, all the other X5 colors will also be available..

If that's true, I'm probably going to be conservative and go with my trusty, Titanium Silver. I just went and configured an X5 on BMWUSA and that seems to be my fav.

Saffire black metallic would probably look good too with the mono-colored body, especially once carbon fiber lower bumper trim chin splitters become available.

That's the one that looks blue... Personally, I prefer the Jet Black if you're going that dark.
But I live in LA and cars get filthy here. So silver is just more practical.

I was thinking Space Gray but since my bro just got his M5 in that color, I don't want to weeze his juice..

I think carbon black is the one that looks blue, like the old M5s etc. My X is the saffire black metallic, just a light silver-ish flake that helps bring out the lines.

But the only reservation I would have on the silver is the fact that the body is mono-colored on the M///, though it looks awesome on the 4.8 sport with the black bumper trim!

The Sapphire has blue flecks in it but it is still black. The Carbon looks blue depending on the light. I just looked at a Carbon Black 550 to see the color in person. It's nice but I agree with B on the Jet Black.
