Drug bust in Texas: They do things big there.
12 Attachment(s)
A common trend has been for drug smugglers to use cloned vehicles to disguise their activities. I've seen fake cable company vans, fake UPS trucks, and fake utility company vans, all complete with signage, ladders, even stolen company license plates. I have seen some that are carelessly prepared like a Time Warner van with Directv and DishTV signage. :tsk:
This one is pretty good. It's a cloned Texas DOT truck and it looks authentic. Check out his load. I don't know what the circumstances of how he got stopped but it was supposedly on I-10 between San Antonio and Seguin. The rest of the pictures are of the drug dealer's home they raided after getting the info from the driver of the truck. DAMN!!! :wow: The e-mail I got with these pictures mentioned that the quantities of money changing hands is so great that they no longer count money. they simply weigh it. $1,000,000 in $100 bills is 37.4 pounds. I don't know how much cash is there but it ought to make a dent in some government deficit. |
:wow: Seems like the guy is running out of places to stuff cash.

Wow!
I could use a ~37 lb bundle myself! Genius gov't ought to legalize that stuff; quality would suffer, but the cops could spend time doing other things and that dough could help the BK Future deal, imo. Cool pics, PNG/K! |

That is amazing. I can't even wrap my head around how much cash that is.

Holy Mother of God. :wow:

Like Ace Hood says.....Knock Knock, Bang Bang where da cash at?!
|
This must be old 'cause the pics of the cash in the home are old. I must've seen it several years ago.

Hey I'll volunteer to 'dispose' of the few stacks of Canadian bills for the Feds!

I wonder how many times this worked before they were busted! Judging from all that cash, they were pretty successful.. If they quit even a week sooner, they would have done aaaalright... :smokin:

Seguin is just east of San Antonio on their way to Houston. They got fairly far then if they came from the border I'm guessing. Pure genius.

That logo looks way off compared to the real Texas DOT logo.
http://www.cannonballtrucking.com/txdotlogo.gif And here's what was painted on the cloned UPS truck: http://blogs.phoenixnewtimes.com/val...ps%20clone.jpg But if nobody is paying any attention, it's as good as the real thing. |
Tsk tsk tsk...
All that cash and they decide to skimp of the logo. |
