Steve McNair shot to death
 

Former Tennessee Titans quarterback Steve McNair has been killed, a source has confirmed to ESPN.com.

McNair, police said, suffered a fatal gunshot wound to the head in downtown Nashville. A female victim was also found dead, police spokesperson Don Aaron said. Aaron said the women has not been identified, pending notification of next of kin.

Wow! This is pretty sad.

In college, I had the priviledge of watching Steve "Air" McNair play while I was at Southern and he at Alcorn State. The whole SWAC is in mourning.

Three time Pro-Bowler and Super Bowl quarterback.

"The bodies were discovered by McNair's longtime friend, Wayne Neeley, who rents the condo with McNair. Neeley told authorities he went into the condo, saw McNair and Kazemi, but walked first into the kitchen before going back into the living room.
Neeley then called Gaddy, who alerted authorities."
