Street fair with lots of vintage autos.

It was a great street fair with a lot of cars,
Great music, good food, good drink. These cars remind me of old times. I use to go to school with kids who owned some of these cars. |

More: The second photo in the group the 1957 chevy
actually has a digital dash board. I didn't see it lit up but you could tell that's what it was. |

Last group. Did anyone find the 1924 Franklin??
|
Nice one QS. Love the pics. I could spend hours checking out old school cars like those. Takes me back to when my dad had a Chevy Bel Air, I think it was a 1959 model. Sheesh, how time flies.
Not sure if you saw my recent thread on similar rides at a hot rod festival that's held each year here on the Gold Coast: Hot Rods with Hot Mods 1st pic, now that's how you slam a car. Thanks  |
Great photos, thanks for posting.
The Franklin is easy, with that grill. Wouldn't have known it was a 1924 except for the license plate. I like the grey 1930 Ford Phaeton. Now help me out with the older grey touring car with the red (artillery?) wheels. The grill looks a lot like a Packard. The wheels suggest late teens, perhaps 1918 to 1920. Did you note what it in fact was? |
Oh Oh... Not sure if I got that one.
I'll look and a larger picture and see. |
those are interesting...how much were they going for? 1

Some were for sale but I didn't note any prices.
Mostly these folks just gather to show off their vehicles and have a good time. |
Cool Pics, QwkAg!
They too, remind me of our HS parking lot, '62-'65, though none were in that condition, or modded as well. ;) My first car was a '52 Ford, flathead V8, 3 on the tree...it cost less than a tire does now, for my X. Thanks for the pics...you & R would look good in that Chevy Impala Vert, 3rd from the top. BR,mD |
