looks more like a roundel just sitting there to me, like they just set it there for the pics and it would fall off if he started driving. We put a BMW roundel on the engine cover of my friends VW golf when it was in the shop, (in place of the VW emblem) he decided it was funny enough to leave it there.

What's interesting is that it has a BMW dealership plate cover (Under the front plate, left side) and the obvious Quattro emblem above the plate.

Plate frame looks same as X5's in background.
