Computer gurus - how to get iTunes on home stereo??

All - I am looking for options on how to get iTunes on my desktop PC in one room to play on my home stereo in another room and possbily have the option to scroll thru the playlists on my flat screen in the same room as the stereo. I have over 200G of music and a 8G nano, so using my iPod is not an option (unless I were to buy another one).

Let me know what my options are here - thanks!!

I would say if you have an iPhone/iTouch get the Apple Remote:
Apple - iTunes - Remote

Then get the Airport Express Base Station with 802.11n and AirTunes:
AirPort Express Base Station with 802.11n and AirTunes - Apple Store (U.S.)

The AirPort Bases station hooks up to your stereo and you have the option in iTunes to send music to it. The Apple Remote uses WiFi and lets your browse iTunes on your computer. This would work for Windows or a Mac.

Don't have iPhone or Touch. I looked at the Airport Base station, but that won't allow me to "see" my playlists from the living roon.

ZC - does it stream from your computer thru wireless or wired to the Apple TV??

Apple TV: Switching between wired and wireless networks

Connect to your network.

Thanks to built-in Wi-Fi, Apple TV can download content from the Internet over your wireless network.
So you only have to connect it to your TV, not to a DSL or cable modem.
Join your existing wireless network from the Apple TV setup screen and
you’ll be renting and buying SD and HD movies and buying TV shows and
music from your couch in minutes.

Squeezebox, now owned by Logitech.

There's a bunch of other options out there in this space, but I know this one pretty well, and it works very well. I can control it with a computer or with an iPod Touch/iPhone (via iPeng).
