i think he wrote "A4L" because it looks alot like the new A4 with just a longer wheelbase..

That is a regression if you ask me. The new 7-Series blows that away. Especially with the sports(///M package?).

I want the A4 Allroad in the US.

Then again, I still wouldn't buy it.

I had a 2000 A8 (short wheelbase) and have to say it was one of my favorite cars, great performance, best interior, i loved the car..I'd have bought an 2008/9 S8, but knew the change was coming, perhaps now i need to run out and buy the current one....I HATE this new look, but hold out hope it looks better in person.

They are great cars, but have abysmal residual values and are frighteningly expensive to own out of warranty.

You can say what you want about Audi not being creative, but I saw the same thing with BMW and the next 5-series - from the side it looks just like the current 3-series. Now the front end is a different story :drool:

They should have created a different exterior design HOWEVER the interior is stunning and that is one area that Audi definitely has a major edge. Their interiors feel much warmer then what BMW currently offers. I agree on the above, I'm in love with the current A8
