VC 5200 Display of license plates / $178*
Wow! I got fined for not having a front plate 2 years ago for $25. That is over 7x now...talk about extortion! VC 27150(A and B) Adequate muffler required / $178 This is definitely open to interpretation...what is considered "Adequate"? |
How is it that minors pay lower fines that adults for cellphone offenses? That should be completely the other way around. Passing school buses should rank right up there w/ doubling the speed limit and DUI's...automatic tow, suspended license and a trip to jail. Why is this so low?

VC 22349, VC 22350 Unsafe Speed, 16 to 25 miles over the limit / $328
Just got one of these last week on an empty road posted 30mph and was doing 49mph. This is one of those WIDE 4 lane roads on the edge of town which should be posted 45mph. Total fine was $498 which includes the traffic school fee. Ouch. If he was using radar my V1 would have been screaming. My bad...I was in a hurry not paying attention. |
What was he using? I'm still curious as which is the best route to go in defending myself....V1, jammers, etc.

Since My reefer trailers are too old and not upgraded for Cali EPA laws im done doing business there :)
As for the fines...its outrageous. Charge that much for not having plates & not to mention that a loud muffler is more expensive than wearing your seatbelt...lmao @DKL My buddy got a ticket for being to loud in an SRT-4 ...he only has tips on a stock exhaust...he got a ticket, cop didn't believe him heheh @James Jammers are a must, especially if cops around your area use them. Most law enforcement around here use Laser. The main reason I sold my V1 and passport. They became useless. I'll install jammers when I get a brand new car....along with an RD |
State gov't, (along with all other levels of gov't), spent the incoming revs from
the halcyon days, like it would never end...all gov't is broke; thus, the elected geniuses will install any and all means of more revenue, especially on "vices", code enforcement, etc. |

In Cali police use K band mostly which my V1 works great for as well as Laser. For the CHP they use KA and I love the guys who just drive around with it on. Its not uncommon for me to get a detection from miles away. They are incorporating Laser much more as well. They like to park and hide in bushes or behind walls and peek out. I have a Laser Interceptor Jammer which I have yet to be tested. |
Speachless!!!! MO is stopping EVERYONE for speeding, while burglaries are at an all time high as with other crimes. Catching a criminal doesn't pay the state, speeders are easy money for the failed public school system... and government!
